After School Arts Program

Schedule Varies 3:15 - 5:15

The Plaza Arts Center kicks off the 2017-18 After School Art Program (ASAP) for K-8th grade in September on Tuesdays from 3:15–5:15. Each child attends once a month per the schedule click here . Students receive a healthy snack when they arrive. We divide the children into groups and rotate among different arts and crafts activities. Click here to download the form to register.

Video Production and Editing Course

Begins October 10 4:00 - 6:00

Video Production and Editing Course - Lights - Action - Camera!

Students will learn about video production and editing in this hands-on class. Each participant will have use of a camera and learn the steps necessary to produce all types of videos. Instructor Maurice Hill, Putnam County Charter Schools' Facilities Manager, is a former freelance videographer and he has a large variety of video and editing equipment for students to use. Open to middle school and high school students —limited to 20 students.

This course will teach the basics of video production including writing a script, creating a storyboard, shooting videos and then editing videos.
