Director: Lydia Huggins Ivanditti
Lydia Huggins Ivanditti came to The Plaza Arts Center with its opening in 2008. Her work in developing the performance schedule, building membership and sponsorships, and in developing and collaborating on educational outreach opportunities has brought statewide recognition to Eatonton and Putnam County. In 2010, The Plaza Arts Center was voted 'Best Performing Arts Venue' by the readers of Lake Oconee Living magazine.
After a first career in commercial real estate, Lydia began a second career in the fine arts industry as Business Manager for Anne Irwin Fine Art in Atlanta. In 2005, she was named Managing Director for the Atlanta Gallery Association, a consortium of the city's finest art dealers and galleries. Lydia serves on the board of the Georgia Assembly of Community Arts Agencies (GACAA) as Secretary and on the education outreach committee for The Atlanta Opera.
Her experience in the arts management field and her network of arts professionals in Atlanta and throughout the state benefit The Plaza Arts Center in bringing entertainment and programs that are uncommon for a community of this size and location outside a major metropolitan area.
